Last night, Mr Benstock attended the launch and opening of the new High Street Exhibition Gallery (next door to the Ipswich museum). This building will be used in conjunction with the New Wolsey Theatre, and is specifically for the development of youth theatre and performing arts. Cliff Lane has recently become a partner school with the Wolsey theatre and we hope to be using this venue in the future for experience, performance and the opportunity for our children to work with professionals.
As an ex pupil of Springfield Juniors and then Northgate High School, Sir Trevor Nunn, well known and respected performer and director in the West End and on Broadway, opened the new building. He was very keen to hear about the exciting opportunities planned for Cliff Lane Primary and wished us all luck and success in our work in the arts.
